The New Zealand Christmas Camp is held in the North Island on the Kapiti Coast, about 45 minutes north of Wellington, at the Palm Grove Holiday Camp, RD 199 Valley Road, Paraparaumu. It is a combined camp for all the New Zealand assemblies.

The camp runs over nine nights from the afternoon of December 25th (first meal is dinner) to the morning of January 3rd (last meal is breakfast). It is exclusively ours during this period. Camp will be open for arrivals after 3pm on the 25th. The camp is fully catered—the saints do the catering.

The venue
The venue is the Palm Grove Christian Holiday Camp, which is set on a ten-acre bush block just out of Paraparaumu. Buses and trains run south to Wellington and north to Auckland. The camp is situated in a quiet country valley, but is only a few minutes drive from a major shopping mall and the coast. The camp has good facilities, including a hall and separate dining room.

What there is to do
There will be morning and evening meetings. The night meeting will have more of a concert atmosphere, but there will be talks at both. There will be organised activities and outreaches as well as free days.

The camp has a swimming pool, water slide, flying fox, sports field, trampoline, and swings. There are good walks and a golf course nearby.

Accommodation and meals
The Camp Manager will allocate all accommodation. The accommodation is in cabins, a lodge, and dormitories. Some tents may also be used.

Rosters for cooking, dishwashing, cleaning etc. will apply.

First meal is dinner (evening) Christmas Day, and the last is breakfast on the day camp breaks up.

Please note that our menu is unable to cater for special dietary requirements. (There is a separate kitchen which can be used by those needing to prepare special meals.)

What to bring
You will need to bring your own bedding, crockery, cutlery and tea towels. Mattresses and pillows are provided.

If you are an overseas visitor and a member of the oversight or currently used to give talks or lead choruses, please indicate this on the form. Make sure your local pastor is happy for you to be used in this way.

Camp is a world-free zone. It is a chance to leave behind worldly influences and to enjoy the Lord and the fellowship of the saints.
Pets and firearms are not permitted in camp.

Camp bookings and fees
All camp fees should be paid by the end of November.

NZ saints should pay camp fees to their own pastor.

Overseas visitors can pay at camp.

Casual meals, no accommodation
Day visitors who want casual meals at camp must still put in an application form. To indicate the days you will be needing meals just tick the nights on the form as if you were staying at camp. Then indicate in the notes at the bottom of the form that you are not needing accommodation, only meals. Also indicate any meals during that time you will not be needing.

Bookings deadline
Deadline for application forms is Sunday, November 24, midnight. We need time to plan and order food, rosters and accommodation.
